Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Zalient Events, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the platform.

2. Description of Service

Zalient Events is an event ticketing platform that enables organizations to create events, sell tickets, process payments via Fonepay QR, and manage attendance through QR-based check-in. The platform provides multi-organization support with role-based access control.

3. User Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. Authentication is performed via one-time passwords (OTP) sent to your email. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

4. Organizations and Roles

Organizations on the platform may assign roles to their members: Administrators, Managers, and Ticket Scanners. Each role has specific permissions. Organization administrators are responsible for managing their members and ensuring appropriate access levels.

5. Ticket Purchases

All ticket prices are calculated server-side and verified at the time of payment. Ticket pricing may change based on quota-based dynamic pricing tiers. Once a ticket is purchased and payment is confirmed, a QR code is generated for event entry. Tickets are valid only for the purchased date and event.

6. Payments and Refunds

Payments are processed through Fonepay QR integration. Each organization manages its own payment credentials and refund policies. Refund requests should be directed to the event organizer. Zalient Events is not responsible for refund decisions made by individual organizations.

7. Event Entry and Scanning

Ticket QR codes are cryptographically signed and can only be used once per event day (unless the ticket is a daily pass). Entry is subject to event date/time restrictions set by the organizer. Presenting a fraudulent, duplicated, or tampered ticket may result in denied entry and account suspension.

8. Prohibited Conduct

• Attempting to tamper with or forge ticket QR codes
• Reselling tickets without authorization from the event organizer
• Creating fake organizations or fraudulent events
• Attempting to exploit vulnerabilities in the platform
• Using the platform for any unlawful purpose

9. Account Suspension

We reserve the right to ban or suspend any user or organization that violates these terms. Banned users will be unable to access the platform. Banned organizations will have all member access revoked.

10. Limitation of Liability

Zalient Events provides the platform "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any event cancellations, payment disputes between buyers and organizers, or any indirect damages arising from the use of the platform.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated through the platform.
